In the end, his friend points out that he's the best at thinking.     2. I'm really enjoying these books I keep finding that integrate stories and math in not so overt ways. I like the inclusion of girls and boys in this story. The fact that there are girls that are the best at something is accurate and encouraging for younger readers.     3. This book was a great one to use for a measurement lesson. I read this book to my first graders, and they were really engaged. It is a level reader, however, I used it as a lesson engager. As I read the book, students kept track of all the different measurement tools used to determine the height, width, and size of the snowmen. After we determined the different measuring tools, students used units, tiles, unifix cubes as different measuring tools to measure school supplies found in their caddy. [...]
