    1. I gave Kar Kaballa 4 stars. Note that the Tower of the Medusa I gave a 2 star. Kar Kaballa is the first in a three book series about the character Dylan MacBride. The other two books are The Second War of the Worlds, and The Island Snatchers. The story takes place on a parallel earth known as Annwn. A crisis is developing due to the sea separating Avalon (where MacBride lives) from the evil Gog lands is freezing over. Once it freezes it will allow the Gog horde to attack Avalon in mass.     2. Really enjoyed Tower of the Medusa. Great fast paced campy space opera type story full of space wizards, space thieves and the like.Kar Kaballa was a little bit slow moving for my tastes. Interesting premise, just dragged a bit.
