    1. This book came to my attention through BookTasters. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it.The book centers around Jen, a teenager who is visiting the Middle East with her father. While there she gets kidnapped and is held prisoner. At this point I thought the book was about the current slave trade market. It is and it is more. The author did an awesome job with bringing the horror of the slave trade to light and he did it without being overly graphic. Kudos to him! The story was te [...]

    2. Things quickly spiral out of control for Jen when her father takes her to Iran to connect with her heritage. She's kidnapped and sold into slavery. Bloodborne: The Path Of Jen is an amazing tale of a sixteen year old American/Iranian girl who refuses to be a victim. Her quest for survival fuels her determination. Author Sidney Wood has truly written a heart-pumping story with enough twists and turns to keep the pages turning. I can't wait to read the sequel.

    3. Path of JenBloodbornby Sidney Wood˝She was kidnapped sold now running for her life. ˝NOTE: I received this book for an honest review. Hi bookworms! Let me just say that I asked to read and review this book because it is definitely not the kind of book I usually read but I was really intrigued to see how will it go and if I´m going to like something that is out of my reading zone. To put it shortly I was feeling adventurous.QUICK SUMMARY:The story follows a sixteen year old girl named Jen, a [...]

    4. Wow! The Path of Jen kept me on the edge from the first to last page. Jen is an American born teenager. Her parents are Iranian. She’s isn’t very familiar with her heritage and very much a typical American teen. She and her dad travel to Iran to visit his brother and it’s in Iran where her world turns upside down. Jen is kidnapped by human traffickers and sold to into slavery. To make matters worse she is surrounded by ISIS members, but Jen is not like the other girls who’ve been kidnapp [...]

    5. I took a little more time than what I usually do reading a good book. But I got a say, Sidney Wood can write a hell of a story! I was very curious about this book mostly because of the cover(take in mind that I sometimes do judge a book by its cover) and Oh my I wasn't disappointed. This book had everything: action, suspense, sadness, happiness, spirituality, and I could go on and list them all. I would've liked more romance in it, but that happens when you are a hopeless romantic like me. Peopl [...]

    6. Going into this novel, I didn't know a lot about ISIS and the Islamic State. I should've known more about them, but this book helped me have a better understanding. It helped relieve some of my confusion. Some of the events such as the kidnapping have sensitive material. I thought this book was very well written. Each moment was described in crisp detail. The only thing that I was a little iffy about was some of Jen's thoughts were a little corny. I don't know how to describe it, but it didn't s [...]

    7. Kidnapped in Iran and thrown into modern day slavery, Jen survives. As I read this book, a thought kept surfacing, “This could be anyone’s daughter, even mine.” Jen portrayed as a normal American teenager fights to stay alive. With wit she does. Some parts sent chills through me, others I held my breath. A thrill ride with twists and turns left me emotionally affected. The unthinkable has happened to her. To go home is her cry. Parents desperate for answers don’t give up. Even as I think ab [...]

    8. A very very very good book by Sidney sir. I got this book by the author himself through booktaster nd I'm really greatful to him for that.e story is amazing nd it reveals the harse condition of Iraq nd their people the characterisation is great especially Jane who is a very brave girl nd I really can visualise her pain nd the fight she is doing for her freedom nd the side charecters are also very much attractive like Jane's parents. the change of Fajid's character after his daughter being kidnap [...]

    9. I got this book from BookTasters on Twitter. It started a little slow, and the book, while interesting and twisty, with a hell of a cliff hanger ending, seems to struggle with what it wants to be. Does it want to be a religious Christian book, delving into the issues with unrestricted immigration, Sharia law, Christianity and Islam? Or does it want to be a fascinating book version of "Taken" with a kidnapped girl being rescued? Or does it want to be a thriller in the style of "Outbreak" It's a d [...]

    10. Thoroughly enjoyed this book! It came to my attention through BookTasters and was an interesting read. Jen's story was captivating from the very beginning. It's a story that really makes you think about what's really going on in the world and what is and could happen. I loved the mix of religious belief and how it was important to the characters throughout the story. Would definitely recommend!
