    1. Disclaimer: This was an assigned read for a college class.An interesting, if not particularly groundbreaking, look at conservatism in the United States over time and in the modern era. Although the book was published in 2017, it was written in 2016 (pre-election), but much of the analysis and data help to shed light on the state of conservatism today (post-election). Definitely a must read for anyone interested in U.S. politics (particularly those interested in explaining the phenomenon of the 2 [...]
