    1. First of all, when we talk about The Prince, we’re not talking about Niccolò Machiavelli's Il Principe here. Though, there’s really no way of recapturing the childhood innocence of the little prince when he has aged enough to become a soap opera actor. Why do we need another so-called-philosophical-contemplative-novel for adults when we already have Tolstoy, Dostoyevsky, Joyce, Murdoch, Camus, Nietzsche, Voltaire, Woolf, Borges, Wallace, Sartre, and other goddamn-serious writers? If you want [...]

    2. i´m sorry but to me it feels like this "sequel" completely misses the point of the original book in every possible way, maybe if it were a novel on it´s own it wouldn´t have been this bad, but mixing up antoine de saint exupery´s masterpiece with this weird pseudo philosophic monologue of an old man trying to TEACH the now slightly older little prince stuff? it just makes everything too litteral and makes it look backwards and wrong, completely misunderstanding what the little prince actuall [...]

    3. setelah go set watchman yang hampir merusak keindahan to kill a mockingbird, padahal dia ditulis oleh penulis yang sama, saya hampir tidak percaya lagi soal novel 'yang dilanjutkan'. dan kepercayaan itu purna sudah setelah membaca the return of the young prince ini. karena novel ini jauh lebih merusak dibandingkan kelanjutan novel legendaris harper lee itu. mulai dari konsep hingga taste yang ada di le petit prince dibabat habis di novel iniya tidak tahu, entah mengapa seorang AG Roemmers berani [...]

    4. Thank you OneWorld Publications for a review copy of The Return of the Young Prince by A.G Roemmers, in exchange of an honest review. Before asking for a review copy of the book, I read several book reviews and most of them are thoughts of disappointed readers or fans of The Little Prince. I kind of hesitated to ask for a review copy, but I decided to give it a try.Without having to compare this book to Antoine's "The Little Prince",I assure you that this is an exceptional one. Many people compar [...]

    5. The Little Prince was so innocently written and this was not. I mean, it's not bad, but I just feel like the narrator was trying to hard. Not my favourite read by far

    6. boring zzzzzkenapa harus pinjem tokoh my lil prince kalo isinya enggak se nonjok lil prince #eaa, sangat menyayangkan aja sih, krna isinya self help nya kental sekali, kalimat2nya jauh dr kalimat2 di buku lil prince, mskipun maksud penulisnya pengen dibuat kek lil prince, klo baca lil prince kan feel after nya kontemplasi sm diri sendiri nya banyak, krna penulis cuma ninggalin clue sana sini, kasih trigger, kita yg mikir, beda jawhhh #ngebandingin *hrsnya gboleh bandingin, yatapi gimana penulisn [...]

    7. Terrible terrible book The author completely missed the lightness and innocence of the original Little Prince This book is just an excuse for the author to share with us his personal thoughts on life, morals and ethics (using the endless questions the Little Prince asks him as a pretext). But guess what? If I wanted to hear a Christian sermon, I would go to Church (the very fact that he dedicated this book to Jesus Christ should have tipped me off). I really struggled to finish these 150 pages. [...]

    8. The very first thought I had when I read through the book is that this book is by all means not necessarily a sequel to The Little Prince. It’s simply Roemmers’ story of his life and how he views the world with the prince in it. There are a few references to the first book, however, but that’s it. So keep in mind that this book is not a continuation of The Little Prince as it is a completely different story all by itself.Sooo with that out of the way, here are my thoughts of this book! The [...]

    9. Ulasan lengkap bertajuk "Petuah Berbalut Perumpamaan dari The Return of the Young Prince": bibliough/2017/Sedikit saranku: Kau harus membaca "The Little Prince" terlebih dahulu untuk membaca ini.Saranku beralasan. Dugaanku ternyata benar. Membaca buku ini seperti membaca kisah lanjutan sang Pangeran Cilik dalam versi dewasa.

    10. A timely reminder of loving incessantly. That what we need to heal this earth is to love one another. This is similar to what I read from a management book recently that to be an effective manager, you should be kind to everyone. Loving and kindness multiply themselves. In essense, it is very similar to the millennium movie (2000), "Pay It Forward."But that is obviously easier said than done. Just like everyone else, when we grew up, we lost that kind of all-trusting, all-loving attitude. We bec [...]

    11. I think this book was lost in translation. It felt way too wordy and compared with the original, it just didn't line up. I was dragging my feet with this one and to be perfectly honest, only finished it because I wanted to take it off my night stand. The last few pages were kind of beautiful though so it warrants three stars.

    12. This is a nice book, but somehow the fact that it was written to be like a "sequel" of sorts of the Little Prince constitutes its main flaw. The Little Prince is PERFECT in itself and it is difficult, if not impossible, to emulate something that perfect It is a bit as those authors who take a famous series of book and then write "new ones" supposedly in the same style It does not sound "authentic".On the other hand, I guess the Author did this out of love, and his book has nice points to it: a s [...]

    14. I wouldn't consider it a sequel of The Little Prince as it claims to be. But i don't find it so bad after all as many other reviewers have written. It's just a bit different. I wouldn't even classify it as a novel. There's hardly any plot. It's more of an inspirational read, much like Tuesdays with Morrie, where the "plot" is used just to convey strong discussions on life and its lessons. Overall, it's a pretty good year-ender read. Sometimes it is good to pause and be reminded of what matters m [...]

    15. I missed the Young Prince. He has this air of innocence in him that really draws me as a reader. The narrator, however has that air of pretentiousness around him oops.

    16. Un gran libro que me llegó en el momento indicado y que a pesar de ser el 2do libro que leo del año, va directo a ser uno de mis favoritos de 2018

    17. Not sure how to rate/review this. There are elements of this I liked, but there were others I have big problems with. Review comes from The Pewter WolfOnce upon a time, a Little Prince lived on a faraway planet, no bigger than himself. And even little princes grow up. One day, he leaves his planet, exploring the universe Only to be discovered in the middle of a road by our narrator. This is the story of their meeting and their journey togetherLike I have said previously, I have never read The Li [...]

    18. A decir verdad, es un buen libro. Está plagado de buenos momentos y adornado con una bella poesía.Sin embargo, este Joven Príncipe se parece poco y nada a nuestro Principito amado. Le falta maś de esa picardía, esa ingenuidad, esa sinceridad, esa sabiduría. Es que, en todo el relato parece ser el hombre que se encuentra al Joven Príncipe el que comparte su sabiduría por medio de las palabras. Pero el Joven Príncipe, creo recordar dos o tres ocasiones, en las que nos llena más el alma d [...]

    19. "Si te sientes solo, si tu corazón es puro, si tus ojos todavía guardan el asombro de un niño, quizás descubras al leer estas páginas que te sonríen otra vez las estrellas y puedes oírlas como si fuesen quinientos millones de cascabeles."¡Este libro me hizo muy feliz! Yo siempre quise que el principito volviese a la Tierra :}

    20. Major cringe. It felt like a mentally retarded father trying to teach his developmentally delayed teen about life, using examples he had read in random books as opposed to what he had learnt via experience.

    21. Tenía miedo a comenzar esta historia, por el gran peso emocional que tiene sobre mi el cuento en el que se basa. Sin embargo, creo que el autor ha sabido captar la esencia del mismo, creando una nueva atmósfera, orientada a un público más adulto.

    22. This book is pure vandalism. Imagine someone spraying graffiti over a painting of Mona Lisa. Well this is it! Good idea. Poor execution

    23. The return of the greatest story of the world #TheReturnofTheYoungPrince. The story of the "Little Prince" return to planet Earth in Patagonia as a teenager be like "a man who ask everything" and meet a man who's "Mr. Know-it-all".😋ถ้าผมเจอ "เด็กหนุ่มรูปงาม" นอนหลับสนิทอยู่ข้างทาง ผมจะอุ้มเขาขึ้นบนรถ แล้ว "จัดการ" เขาซะในแบบข [...]

    24. "Don't read sequels." I think that is a rule I should follow with no exceptions. I couldn't resist this book when I saw it. But the book meandered too much into observations that lacked the charm of the original. Yes, the stuff in here is nice. But without the symbolism of the first book. Makes for a quick read and you might highlight one or two passages, but that's about it.

    25. I was wondering why some readers rated this so low. For me it was fantastically amazing. You can easily connect to the deep words, thoughts, and messages carried throughout the book. Words may be written in a simple way, yet all of it can easily be remembered. I recommend this book to everyone, especially to those who have hard time seeing their worth, as it is very inspiring.

    26. I put too much expectation to this book. Unfortunately all the chapters just made me frowning all time. I should have listened when someone warned me about this book. This is not a sequel that I am looking for!!! No matter how hard he tried to deliver the message, those conversation between the narator and "The Young Prince" was running dry. It was difficult to digest them all. I guess he should write his own self-help book without the prince, his sheep and the roses. I would not recommend this [...]

    27. It's like I'm reading "How to - Life 101". I should lower my expectation considering it's not written by the original writer. but still, Little Prince yknow LITTLE PRINCE.full review to come.
