    1. At Dead of Night by Bethany Leigh is a wonderful story about murder, mystery, and intrigue. Lucy, a private investigator, is hired to find out who murdered Marilyn Carter or if her death was truly an accident. As she is investigating she needs to contact her ex-boyfriend to receive information on a source for her case. Noel, a sportswriter, has not heard from Lucy since she broke off their relationship because of a disciplinary spanking. Lucy misses Noel and wants to work things out, but lets mi [...]

    2. AGATHA-CHRISTIE-STYLE WHODUNITThis story kept me captivated and the pages turning as the mystery and suspense unfolds. Who is responsible for the death of Marilyn Carter or was her falling over the cliffs really just an accident? The plot twist kept me in suspense, with just enough details to add to the mix as we learn more about Marilyn, her husband Eric, the people from her church, those she offended, and people from her past. Not everything is black and white, there are so many gray areas. Th [...]

    3. This was my first Bethany Leigh book, and I really enjoyed it!This was a wonderful combination of Domestic Discipline and Christian DD.The characters were well written. I adored Lucy. She was a great female character showing the strength and confidence that comes with being a Private Investigator and modern woman. But she also had a softer, submissive side, which I loved.Noel was sexy, dominant and totally in charge. Sometimes, he got on my nerves for seeming a little overbearing, only to turn a [...]

    4. Move over Miss MarpleThere is another puzzler in the house. Actually, Lucy is like a mixture of a young Miss Marple, Rosemary and Thyme, and several other British who done it characters that I love. Noel is a sports writer and Lucy the PI. She isn't unsafe normally but when she is unsafe enough Noel gives her the slipper. She leaves him because bruises are too much. But she loves the fun spankings and when she needs his help, their love takes over. Read this book. And I can easily see a series. [...]

    5. This was a marvelous murder mystery with all the elements needed for a storyline. It was well written and suspenseful to the end. There were a few red herrings but no spoilers from me except to say the butler didn't do it, lol. Besides a well told tale of mystery and suspense there was a bonus of a domestic discipline. Some was light and fun and some more serious. A real page turner and A great read.

    6. Suspense and crime books have always been one of my guilty pleasures. I enjoyed reading this and trying to guess who did it. I also loved watching Lucy give into her true feelings for Noel. This was a page turner and I knew from page one I wouldn't stop until I finished and found out who did it.This is definitely a great story for people who love a good mystery mixed with steamy spankings.

    7. I found this book to be a great read. I enjoyed the “who dun it” that Lucy, a PI, spent the book trying to solve. In addition to the mystery that Lucy is trying to solve, this story also has both fun and disciplinary spankings that are entertaining. I would recommend this book to others that enjoy a good mystery and also a happy ending.

    8. 4 ½ to 5 starsI like to sink my teeth into a good murder mystery and this one kept you reading with its twists and turns. It did have the bonus of DD. Noel and Lucy have a reconnect with exciting consequences. The mystery was a good one that was well written.
