    1. 4.5*Everything about this is glorious. A beautiful story to teach kids that not everybody lives their lives the same way, with beautiful artwork. A gorgeous collaboration.

    2. Having that one best friend that you can always count on is extremely important. “A Book for Bramble” by Lynne Garner depicts the story of a mouse named Teasel and a porcupine named Bramble who share an unbreakable friendship. At the beginning of the book, the weather is getting colder. Bramble is preparing to hibernate and the two friends start to realize that their time together is limited. As winter approaches, Bramble must leave Teasel. Like every true friendship that experiences separat [...]

    3. Beautifully written and illustrated! Used for homeschooling my 6 & 3 year oldPerfect book for teaching about hibernation and changes in season. It was a great springboard for many conversations and projects including:Which animals hibernateWhat do you think the animals do to prepare for hibernationWhat do you think the animals do when they WAKE UP? (fun one)What are the seasonsHow long is each season

    4. A cute story about the friendship between a mouse and a hedgehog. Teasel the mouse misses his friend Bramble during the hibernating winter months. While Bramble is asleep, Teasel writes a book about his activities. This story is good to teach children about friendship, hibernation, journal writing, and patience.

    5. I liked this book because it has beautiful pictures, a hedgehog and a story of a child making a book for a friend - something my children like to do. I do always think this particular story is a bit wordy, the language is not as beautiful as in some children's books.

    6. This was adorable. A mouse writes a book detailing winter for his friend Bramble, a hedgehog, who misses winter every year because he hibernates.I couldn't help but laugh at "Winter is coming," though. (Heheheh.)

    7. This is a cute story about friendship. The pictures are cute and sweet. The story is cute and sweet. 3-7 Nicholas likes to pretend he's little too old for this. :)
