    1. Again this is really a bit lower than what I clicked on. 3.70 but no way I know of at least, of putting in percentages of stars. This is a very good read. Remember it is not a full novel however, and it is part one of a continuing saga. The descriptions are good, the plot flows along as it should, there are twists you might not see coming. The ending is a little quick, which is one reason for a lower start count from me. And to be honest the writing is not great, it could flow better. But it is g [...]

    2. Aldan, a wizard's apprentice, arrives at a castle just ahead of a mage's army that has allied with demons. Given a tome of awesome power, he spirits the princess Odessa and her two guards out of the castle before the invading army can arrive. What follows is a fast paced adventure in a world that's much darker than I expected. 3. The style of writing is like Grimm's Fairy Tales or Aesop's Fables. It was enjoyable and imaginative. There is mystery underlying what seems to be fairly simple action and dialog. Magic accomplishes a lot in physical battle, but I enjoyed the battle for hearts and souls of those called to use magic. There seems to be much more story to come and secrets to be revealed. I hope the author will provide that.

    4. This is his first novel and generally is was a delight to listen to while I was traveling. The story is straightforward and the characters are charming.
