    1. This, I think, is the second book by this author and it is listed as set in the Edwardian era. Here is the thing, if you are going to write something that is set in an actual, real historical time, then by God you should have some knowledge of the history of that time and not just make it up as you want it to be for your book. If you don't really care about anything that happened in that era or how incorrect any of your "traditions" or "facts" about that time are, then set your book in an altern [...]

    2. SHORT-TERM PAIN, FOR LONG-TERM GAINThis was an interesting continuation from the Betrothed book. At a wedding, the groom is given a paddle by the bride’s father, and then after the ceremony, they go to their home, he takes his bride upstairs, paddles her and then beds her while the guest waits for the feast downstairs.     3. Lady Margia's campaignWomen should not be spanked. I enjoyed the multiple storylines and there was enough character development to feel familiar with the characters. There were a few times that the punishments were on the border of too harsh but they were not described more than minimally so as not to offend. Great new book by a new author and I look forward to more.
