    1. This review appears on Happy Indulgence. Check it out for more reviews! Does war cause violence, or does violence cause war? This is one of the central themes running through Trouble Tomorrow, about a Sudanese boy called Obulejo, who escapes from his wartorn country and becomes a refugee in Kenya.Based on a true story, there couldn’t be a more topical book at the moment to further our understanding of the refugee crisis. Obulejo is displaced from his home, driven by the will to survive. He’s [...]

    2. A very thought provoking and worthy story about the victims of civil war and life in refugee camps. The part where the sixteen year old main character was fleeing through jungle avoiding wild animals and rebel soldiers was very exciting. I didn't give a higher rating because I felt many of my students would be put off by the writing style, able students with a social conscience will get a lot out of it however.

    3. I received a copy of this title from Allen & Unwin for review.Ten Second Synopsis:Obulejo is happy at his home with his father, mothers and siblings, until the Rebels come and force his family to split up and run. The efforts and determination it will take Obulejo to escape to Kenya and the refugee camp will be nothing compared to the trials he has to endure while waiting for the war to end.Much like Obulejo's journey to freedom, this story is not one for the faint of heart. Right from the o [...]

    4. Fascinating real story of a young Sudanese refugee. Description of life in the refugee camp was interesting and heart breaking. The addition of the part about the peace training at the end makes one think about the problems, not only in Sudan, but in other parts of the world and even in ones own life - and how those problems might be faced and solved. A very worthwhile read for all young people.

    5. Another book about the harrowing experiences that happen for people in our world (this time the Sudan). Really are so fortunate to be born in NZ! Well worth the read

    6. I really loved this book and I would recommend everyone to read this. To understand how a refugee feels and has to go through for freedom.
