    1. 4.5 StarsFrom the moment I saw you again, I knew you could undo me. I knew I should stay away from you, but I couldn't. I can't. The only thing I can do is make you mine. Can you get a sweet and sexy romance with Melanie Harlow's signature brand of light-hearted humor while dealing with a very heavy mental health issue? In the case of this book, that's a resounding hell yes. As a matter of fact, I'm in awe of the author for actually pulling it off as well as she did. She wrote fantastic, multi-la [...]

    2. 4.5 Every Pot has a Lid Stars * * * * 1/2Spoiler FreeI think there is something so profound in the simple understanding of Today was a good day.We all have had days where things just didn't go as planned and then it was a slippery slope into awfulBut when Today was a good day, we really need to rejoice in the momentwe were fortunate; those days valuable. Melanie Harlow has a knacka flair. She understands comedic timing and uses it with a deft hand. What makes her even more special is her ability [...]

    3. 2.5 starsI think Melanie Harlow is a great author who writes really fun books, but unfortunately this was my least favorite book by her. And I've read them all, with the exception of Yanked. My average rating for her books is 4 stars, so I promise I read this with high hopes. It's hard for me to have a negative opinion about the book when I had such a fun br with Ami thoughI have no regrets. My main issue with the book, was that unlike her other stories it just kind of failed to draw me in and h [...]

    4. 4 stars!Full Review for 1001 Dark Nights: Bundle Nine at Of Pens and Pages.I read this a while back; long before I fell head over heels in love with the romance genre entered the wonderful world of book blogging. This novella is one of the reasons why Melanie Harlow has earned a spot in my one-click list. It had an effortless kind of humor, one that makes you laugh unintentionally (and intentionally), and oh my, Melanie Harlow knows how to write a sex scene; she pretty much perfected it. I loved [...]

    6. 3.5 - 4 ★'s Skylar's life is going to hellher portrayal of a villain on a reality show has had a domino effect on almost everything in life. For some peace and quiet, she goes to the beach and runs into a hot guy who she later realizes was the class oddball. They met againd this time actually talk to each other at her sister's coffee shop. They are drawn to each other and both want more but Sebastian is not your typical guy. Sebastian has OCD and while he's had a good handle on it, Skylar kind [...]

    7. Skylar has just arrived back in town after a failed attempt at a reality dating show. Her life is falling apart and she feels like a failure. I immediately felt for Skylar, she felt real to me. Her life hasn’t gone according to plan and she feels like a failure when she compares her life to where she wanted things to be. This is a feeling I think most people can relate to and I immediately related to her.Sebastian is also back in town and has his own baggage. Sebastian struggles with severe OC [...]

    8. 4.5 StarsWell, I finally lost my Melanie Harlow V-Card and I wouldn't change a thing! Reviewing this week keeps getting put on the back burner for work (stupid work!) but in short, I loved this book and can't wait to read Natalie's story. Skylar and Sebastian were funny, charming and sexy as hell together. Sebastian's struggles with his OCD were realistically done, in my opinion, and the way Skylar handled that aspect of Sebastian made me love these two even more.Rant time! Why the hell don't we [...]

    9. I have nothing positive to say about this book. Nothing about it worked for me. The only reason I didn't DNF was because my awesome reading buddy. Thanks Jeanne. This one def tops the list!!! Lol

    11. 5 "I want everything." StarsI have a new author crush and it's Melanie Harlow. Some Sort of Happy was a really amazing read for me. Completely unexpected, I was enamored with Harlow's easy descriptive prose, her engaging plot, and this beautiful love story between two people so seemingly different they just fit together perfectly. In the interest in preserving the plight of each character I'm not going in depth about either one but rather generalizing each and a blanket statement that I loved th [...]

    12. 4 StarsI've found that while on vacation my reviews don't like to save after I've spent almost an hour working on it grrrrrr!! I liked this story. Sebastian & Skylar are great characters. I can't wait to see where the rest of the series goes!! Looking forward to the other two Nixon sisters!!!

    13. 4 Crazy StarsI picked up Some Sort of Happy because I loved the third book in the series and also the Hero has OCD. Some Sort of Happy is a standalone and each book is about the sisters. This is Skylar and Sebastian’s story. Skylar is the pretty sister. She isn’t successful and she’s coming back home after failing as an actress in New York. She is what I would say is at a crossroads. I was kind of indifferent to Skylar in the beginning because pretty mean girls do nothing for me, but she i [...]

    14. This book was truly a work of beauty. It was open and honest, heartwarming and endearing, and heartbreakingly real. I couldn't help but fall in love with these characters and their story and become invested in their happily ever after. As much as I came to enjoy Skylar and her charming inner monologues, Sebastian was the one who mattered the most to me. How could he not when I found pieces of me in him? I suffer from high anxiety due to some traumatic events in my past and there are times when my [...]

    15. This is Book 1 in the series HAPPY CRAZY LOVE.This book was recommended to me by my dear friendGökçe and I want to thank her for it because I went in blind, not knowing what it was about and the fact that it was about a man with a mental disorder came as a surprise. It was a different experience and it definitely is a book worth reading although I had minor problems with it. Let me tell you that if you like your heroes perfect, this book is not for you, because he has a major flaw: OCD. But of [...]

    16. Sometimes, a book comes along and takes you completely by surprise in all the best ways. That was this book for me. I was expecting a romantic comedy and while this book did have some funny moments, there was so much more. Sebastian was closed off in high school- the other kids thought he was weird because of some of his idiosyncrasies. He has anxiety and OCD. Skylar was the popular girl at school, the beauty queen that Sebastian could only ever fantasize about - knowing he didn't have a chance [...]

    17. 5++++ StarsBLOWN. AWAY. This is my first thought. UNEXPECTED. That is my second thought. And then, there'sOMFG THIS IS THE BEST BOOK EVER I JUST WANT TO HOLD AND HUG AND KISS SEBASTIAN 8 TIMES AND I NEVER WANT TO LET HIM GO. Phew. Those are just some of my thoughts. What it boils down to is this. Melanie Harlow can write. She writes her fucking ass off. And we all know this. But then, she delivers SSOH, and it's like WHERE DID THIS COME FROM?!?! Because what she gives us, is a story that ripped [...]

    18. 4.5 starsI don’t know how many times I’ve told you I love youbut I know that number is all wrongbecause it isn’t enoughI’m beginning to think Melanie Harlow is a magician. How else did she manage to write a romantic comedy, weave in a mental health issue, and make it moving, sexy, and lighthearted as well? Skylar and Sebastian are an unlikely pair. She’s a former beauty queen, failed aspiring actor, and vilified reality TV star. He was that weird kid in high school that everyone picked [...]

    20. Well, I finally finished it! At no fault to the author, might I add, my life is just kind of crazy right now. Sebastian Such an intriguing character. I love reading stories like this and not only learning something new, but being able to experience his thoughts, fears, and see his tendencies helps to put a lot in perspective. At times I found Skylar to be a tad annoying but it's always quite clear how good her and Sebastian are for each other. I really liked this story, it's so different and out [...]

    21. Once I started this, I could not put it down. I LOVED it. I seriously loved this book. Adding to my favorites shelf as we speak.Skylar is stuck in a rut and her life isn't going to plan. After becoming the "bad one" on a reality show and having her dreams of stardom go nowhere, she's living back at home, jobless, and beauty pageant crown less. Sebastian has been half in love with Skylar since they when to school together but with his severe OCD all through school, Skylar doesn't recognize him at [...]

    22. OMG, I loved it! Smart, sexy, funny and oh-so romantic, this book surprised me with its depth and emotion. I could not put it down. 4.5 stars!27 year old Skylar Nixon has returned to her home town after a failed attempt at an acting career. Her last-ditch effort at finding fame was a reality TV show in which she was cast as the villain, and the consequences of that have made her life hell. So she is pretty much at rock bottom – living with her parents, working at her sister’s coffee shop and [...]

    23. 5 "hole" Stars"You have no idea what that's like for me -to just feel. It's heaven."I finished this book feeling all sorts of Happy, as a matter of fact, perfectly happy. I loved it and I congratulate Melanie Harlow on an amazing book that told the story of two people who were lost but found each other and gave each other direction and enrichment when life was at the lowest. The note from the author at the end of the story was very heart warming and brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for sharin [...]

    24. A constant battle between head and heartA story of forgiveness, redemption, and hope.Refreshing! Inspiring! Sensational! I couldn't take my eyes off of the pages. I was sucked in from page one and there was no turning back. The words grabbed hold of my heart and wouldn't let go. The writing style, the voice of the characters, the immediate emotional connection that developed, it was just an overall beautiful experience. Ms. Harlow's words left me with a huge smile on my face, one that I still ha [...]

    25. 😁********* Warning!!!! Spoilers Alert**********😁First I will like to applaud this author Melanie Harlow, for writing such a compelling book concerning a real disease of the mind which is O.C.D. Thanks Melanie for shining a light on this issue to help me to get just an sliver of understanding of how people that have this disease function through out their daily lives and can still have healthy relationships and some type of normalcy. I'm just wowed and throughly impressed. I loved the laugh [...]

    26. Some Sort of Happy is some sort of wonderful. Can I talk to you about Sebastian Pryce? I know, I know I hate to gossip but that beautiful, kind hearted, sexy, misunderstood man has become a favourite. A favourite!I think I quite like a damaged hero - I mean like Archer (Archer's Voice) and Moses (Law of Moses), where they are judged because they are different. I want to hold their hands. I want to be their cheerleaders. Make others see the good. Make others see they are made of the same stuff.Se [...]

    27. Some Sort of Happy by Melanie Harlow is a sweet, swoony, and passionate story about Skylar and Sebastian. It is light-hearted and adorable, as well as very hot and a little angsty. In fact, I found it irresistibly charming.Skylar is 27, has recently moved back in with her parents, and is licking her wounds from a failed acting career. She is feeling the pressure to get her life together and wants to find success in something--anything, really. Skylar is having a very bad day when she runs into S [...]

    28. ARC Provided by Authorimasweetandsassybookwhore. What can I say? Yet again, Melanie Harlow has outdone herself. Each book is better than the one before, each hero more amazing, each heroine more enjoyable.I admit, at the beginning, I wasn't sure if I was going to like Sebastianhe's a different type of romantic lead and the things he is dealing with in his life make his a lot less accessible that romantic heroes usually arebut then you get to know him. You learn about his kindness, about how much [...]

    29. Really enjoyed this story. Skylar was a very likable heroine. Sebastian was good, but I can't say I liked him as much as Skylar. However, together they were fabulous. I loved how she handled his OCD. I have never thought of OCD as so debilitating. It was educational but not in your face.Having read two not so good contemporary romances this weekend, this was refreshing!
