    1. FIRST IMPRESSION:The first thing I noticed in the digital copy I received for review were the excellent reviews from various well known people across the world. The reviews were for this book and that has, to some effect, affected how I approached this book. I knew this book was of the self help genre and I have read quite a number of them in recent times. So picking this up was natural because the bullet list in the summary attracted me more than anything else. Dream - is not about those vision [...]

    2. Dream won me over instantly. I believe in dreams, always have and will, thus reading in Wieder's wisdom was more akin to bathing or basking in the knowledge. There are not too many books out there that embrace this topic directly, so with a keen curiosity, I flipped the book open and commenced what felt like the next stepping stone on my own journey. I'd been looking and seeking, and felt an ingredient was missing, and sincerely felt my call had been answered. The first pages graced my life, shar [...]

    3. Dreamers are said to be results-oriented individuals, with author Marcia Wieder designing this self-help book to aid such people and help turn their lives around and better the world, emphasizing that one’s ability to dream is critical for assisting one in creating the life of their dreams. It intends to help anyone create dreams both personal and professional, with many real steps such as understanding who one really is, how one wants their life, how to devise inspirational dreams, how to loo [...]

    4. The author takes the concept of a dream and uses it as a verb. Many times when people think of the word “dream” they consider it a noun, like when dreaming while sleeping or day dreaming or something one wants to do but does not work towards that goal. A good quote from this book to put it into perspective is “You are dreaming (the verb) for the sake of manifesting your dreams (the noun)” (page 26).This book is not a dry self-help book. Marcia Wieder is a very entertaining writer. In one [...]

    5. DREAM breaks the subject of life's dreams into a chapter by chapter plan toward success. Many times, a self help/self discovery tool offers only vague guidance to readers. In a chapter by chapter guide, Wieder offers much more in this book. Her simple exercises and well-developed format teach readers to, not only discover their dreams--but, to implement real-world plans toward their achievement. While two people with very different dreams require different specifics as they move toward achieving [...]

    6. My mother always tells me not to be afraid to dream, and not to be afraid to go after that dream. You need to reach for that dream. Nobody said it would be easy. It takes work, perseverance. My biggest problem has always been where to begin.I’ve listened to many motivational tapes, been to some conventions, and never got much from them. Right from the introduction, I knew I’d found something different. As I continued reading, I had a lot of “I see” moments, and “Now I get it” thoughts. [...]

    7. Dream is a book that made me think of my dreams and goals in a whole new way. Each chapter builds upon the next to help you focus in on what you really want in your life and then she gives you the tools to help you achieve this.Part of these tools are questions and identifying statements that help you really identify what you really want and how to get there. She also shares things that we tell ourselves that create negative emotions and thoughts and how to avoid doing this. There are positive s [...]

The steps are:1.Clarify Your Dreams.2.Believe in Your Dreams.3.Act in Your Dreams. All three of these steps are essential for achieving success. 10. **reviewed on saharsblog**Just like with most self-help books, Marcia Wieder’s Dream: Clarify and Create What You Want requires a dose of introspection as well as a dollop of detachment. I personally felt that a lot of the book read as a pep talk. It was very well written and engaging, and although it wasn’t why I picked up the book for, I have a feeling that many going through a tougher time than I am will make good use of it. After all, there is nothing that doesn’t make sense, and it ca [...]

    11. In the past, I have dreamt big things for myself. I have also wanted for small things too. I wanted to be a teacher, an author, a business owner, a mother. The author says all of these things big or small are dreams, the things we want for ourselves. The problem for almost all of us is achieving those dreams. How do we do it? The author shows us step by step how we can achieve anything we desire to be but she begins by telling us that we need to heal first. She calls these our sacred wounds. By a [...]

    13. "Dream: Clarify and Create What You Want" is a tool that can be used to help us determine exactly what we would like to do with our lives. We all dream. Some dreams we've put on the back burner and others have become somewhat hazy. Marcia teaches us how to clarify our dreams using different methods including practical approaches to help us de-clutter our lives to allow more room for our future "dream" or "personal project" to come alive. One of the points I appreciated was to "practice emptying [...]

    14. I am a big believer in dreaming big, but like many, struggle sometimes to put feet on those dreams. I could stand some encouragement in the right direction, and I believe many of you could, too. So when I had the opportunity to see what this author had to say on the subject, I was game. What I found was more or less what I expected. The author writes from the heart in an engaging way, sharing personal stories that demonstrate the power of reaching far and high. Her style and tone is accessible, a [...]

    18. This book is a great read, with easy to grasp nuggets. Something you can read over a 2nd time and get more out of it. If you ever have a chance to hear Marcia speak live, go! Physically, she is a petite person on stage, but fills every inch of the room when she speaks. I would place her up there with Tony Robbins as someone capable of handing you life-long tools to really change your life.
