    1. It argues the gospel serves as the catalyst for fostering lasting change in the lives of teens and in the redemption of the world. It encourages youth wordkers and volunteers to place the gospel at the center of their ministries. What does this mean? How does this look like? It is easy for the gospel to get lost in the life of any ministry. This is the heart of this book. It is for ministry leaders, parents, and anyone working with youth. One thing that I was encouraged by this book was the stud [...]

    2. I first heard about “Gospel-Centered Youth Ministry” edited by Cameron Cole & Jon Neilson on The Gospel Coalition’s site and it went up on my wish-list, just to see that after 2 days, the guys from Crossway made it available in this awesome project “Beyond the Page”. I am involved in the youth ministry and it is one of my main responsibilities so from the beginning, even reading the title I was eager to read it and learn more. I have to say that this book came at the right time in [...]

    3. I wish I had read this book 4 years ago when I started in student ministry. Excellent overview of how the gospel affects every component of student ministry, including discipleship, expositional teaching, small groups, interaction with parents, music, events, and mission trips. The whole book was great, but my favorite chapters were on- discipleship (Darren DePaul), - expositional teaching (Eric McKiddie), - partnering with parents (Mike McGarry), - generational integration (Dave Wright), and- se [...]

    4. I enjoyed this book so much that I binged it. Really gave me a lot to think about and reminded me to keep the gospel center and to make sure that the primary focus of my ministry to students is training a new generation for gospel ministry.

    5. This book gives great insight from those who are experienced in the areas of discipleship in the youth arena. For me, it was constantly captivating while every chapter contained some insight in something j haven't ever considered but also how to improve in areas om already familiar with. Definitely a recommendation for anyone looking to go into Youth Ministry

    6. The title is s bit misleading. It's not so much about "youth" ministry as it is about ministry of any and every kind! What a great book! Useful and inspirational and challenging for ALL who are in Christian ministry.

    7. Admittedly I didn't read all of this book because it wasn't wholly relevant to my ministry. I work with younger kids but found this book very helpful and informative. A great resource for anyone working with teens in ministry context.

    8. Compilation of articles by various authors. Overall good book. Definitely has good things to say about the state of youth ministry and where we need to focus.

    9. This book is very well written and structured, and it provides a wealth of information for anyone wanting to work or volunteer in youth ministry. The book is structured so that you can tailor it to your specific needs, although the entire book is a good resource for anyone wanting to learn more about or do more with their youth ministry. A unique feature is that each topic is written by a different author knowledgeable about the subject matter, totaling 14 in all. The book is broken into three p [...]

    10. Livro muito prático com direcionamentos simples, mas bíblicos e saudáveis. Todo líder de jovens do Brasil deveria ler. É Exatamente dessa simplicidade que precisamos!

    11. There are few books that are geared for this kind of topic. The most notable and most popular is the “Purpose Driven Youth Ministry” by Doug Fields which really sets the bar of what an effective and practical guide in youth ministry. Fields mostly sets the program (complete with diagrams, templates, graphs) which is comprehensive. He shared some biblical insights here and there. But in “Gospel-Centred Youth Ministry”, having the gospel in the very heart of this kind of ministry IS practi [...]

    12. It is so important that our youth ministries are not just a place to come hang out and play goofy games. Youth need the Gospel and if you are called to youth ministry then we need to make sure we are giving them the Gospel. This book gives the reason behind that and some practical ways to have the Gospel permeate our ministry.

    13. Excellent book for Creating a Youth Ministry Philosophy If you want a book that will give you a practical advice about forming a youth ministry that is biblical rooted this should be your first book you pickup

    14. Solid book for an overview of the things to keep in mind when organizing and leading a youth ministry. Thankful for it, good tool for any youth leader
