    2. The text is simple and written in a chronological fashion following the life cycle of the lemur. The author gives facts and then a frame of reference for the students. For ex. "Baby lemurs weigh around 2.5 ounces. That is about as much as fourteen nickels." I really liked that feature of the writing. Photos are beautiful and show what the text is explaining. A glossary and fun facts are included. Great for 1st- 3rd grade.
