    1. "Rees’ latest installment in the Navy SEAL Defenders series quickly grabs readers and takes them along on an interesting game of cat and mouse. The resiliency of the hero and heroine demonstrates the resiliency of the human spirit in general. This is an action-filled keeper!" (RT Book Reviews, 4 1/2 stars TOP PICK!).Miniseries: Navy SEAL Defenders

    2. My first book by this author. I loved it! It was predictable, I knew who was behind everything chapters before they revealed it. Typical ending, Guy gets girl, gets married ect. but it was still written very well. Can't wait to read more from this author soon ♡

    3. Gripping medical suspense. I always find that a hospital setting adds a bit of bonus intrigue to suspenseful read and this one certainly did. A truly creepy morgue scene followed by plenty of twists and turns kept me blissfully discombobulated. As to the romance -- you know the old adage about a woman scorned? Well, Deborah lives up to it. She is so not happy to reconnect with Coleeven though his Navy SEAL brawn comes in mighty handy a time or two. Mind you, Deborah is no shrinking violet when i [...]

    4. Great read! Lots of twists and turns in this exciting medical mystery! Deborah Lewis knows something isn't right in the pediatric ward where she works and the more she digs into the reasons behind why kids are having serious kidney failures the more frequent attempts on her life become. When her ex boyfriend Cole Strachan, a former Navy Seal, suddenly appears back in her life she is overwhelmed and not happy at all. Cole Strachan can't believe that after returning to Harborcreek that he's alread [...]

    5. This book was okay…not one of my favorites, but it was an enjoyable read. What I liked: I thought the suspense was sufficient enough to keep me turning pages until the end. A story that keeps you guessing who the “bad guy” is until the very end always holds my interest, and this one did that. What I didn’t like: The dialogue seemed stilted and unnatural. Some of the actions and thought processes were unbelievable.I had a hard time getting into this story, but it wasn’t a total reject. I [...]

    6. New to me author. I plan on looking for more of her books. Has been an enjoyable read and has taken my mind off of things I can not change. (9:38 PM 3/5/16)

    7. Maybe more like 4 1/2 stars. I enjoyed it but found the ending a little too unbelievable but kudos on an original plot!!

    8. Loved it!Another great story! Easy read, clean, romantic, suspense filled. Well worth your time. Thank you for another great book. Loved the characters!

    9. Sorry, but I didn't finish this one. Too much hospital creepiness. Too many sick babies. The heroine gets locked in a meat freezer in the morgue in the first chapter!
