    1. Ich bin fassungslos. Vor der „Shadow Pines Trilogy“ veröffentlichte V.B. Marlowe bereits einen Einzelband: The Girl with the Blood Red Lips. Da mich der Trilogieauftakt Shadow, Shadow ungemein begeisterte, wollte ich mir diesen Roman ebenfalls zulegen. Leider ist er nirgendwo zu bekommen, weder neu noch gebraucht. Ich habe noch nie erlebt, dass es so gar keine Möglichkeit gibt, ein Buch zu kaufen. Selbst vergriffene Bücher sind doch immer aus zweiter Hand erhältlich. The Girl with the Bl [...]

    2. I think my favorite part of this story is that everything is so original. Shadows that kill, people who come back from the dead and are as normal as before they died. A secret town no one knows about. The originality is what has kept me engaged, though I will admit that the ORIGINAL cover art did a lot to draw me in and now they went ahead and changed them.

    3. This book was as good as the first one. I absolutely love the original story and all the characters. I loved all the drama and action in this book as well as the unexpected turns of events. I also enjoyed learning more about the shadows and the history of the characters. Excited to continue on with the next book.
