    1. So cute & fun.Do Over is LDS fiction that can easily be enjoyed by anyone who enjoys clean, humorous romance. Set in Utah there are only a few sentences in the entire book that reference something to do with LDS culture. One reference to using money to support missionaries, one question as to whether someone had been sealed in the temple and a sentence that says a wedding takes place in a temple. Otherwise this book could and should be read by anyone who enjoys cute clean fun chick lit!I rea [...]

    2. Iris was burned--and burned badly. She moves to a small Utah community to take a vacation and to become who she truly feels she is. Trey has also been burned. Little did they know that their lives would change because of a funny situation involving Ben & Jerry's ice cream.I thought that Iris was a little bit on the rebound, by doing the extreme with her hair and clothes, and almost personality, and going for a guy she would never go for. Yet that style seem to fit her more than her previous [...]

    3. 5 STARSI was surprised at how much I liked Do Over. I laughed and wanted to tell someone about what I had read. Even thought about getting some boots to wear.I love the characters. Iris is beautiful on the inside and on the outside. She was hurt so bad by her husband. Iris is at a place where she hates men. She has moved from Washington state to Alpine, UT. She is making changes in her live to get over the hurt. She buys biker boots and leather jacket, hair cut and dye red on the ends. Iris is t [...]

    4. I've had a review copy of this for a long time and I'm not sure why I waited so long to read it. I think it was because it was the last book in the series and I thought they had to be read in order. While there are characters and stories from the previous books, I don't think they need to be read in order. I still haven't read the first three. Anyway, I liked this one. I especially liked the parts with Iris and Trey, I would have been happy if the entire book was told with only their POVs. I'm n [...]

    5. I was so excited to read this book, and I was really disappointed with it! I'm still trying to put into words what bugged me about this book, but so far I haven't been successful. Usually I don't want a book to end, but this one felt like a relief to me when it was over! The rest of the review contains spoilers so stop reading if you don't want any spoilers!I felt like nobody stayed in character, and I'm still not sure who Iris is -- classy, elegant designer or wild painter??? Except everyone lo [...]

    6. I was pulled in just reading the prologue. Iris and Trey have sworn off the opposite sex, because all they have dealt with in life is heartbreak. When they meet each other in the frozen food section at their local grocery store, they both have their eyes set for the last chunky monkey ice cream, who will end up with it? Iris has drastically changed her appearance to scare off men, but eventually realizes its doing the opposite. Trey needs help fending off his sister in law who is trying to marry [...]

    7. Shannon Guymon is in my parents' Ward in Alpine and has been nice enough to sign my daughter's books, which she was totally excited about. But have to say this was my least favorite of the Alpine series. The story overall is very cute, and I like the character's interactions. But the fact that all of the main characters in the whole series revert to acting like bratty, wild 15 year-olds the minute Iris comes to town is what really bothered me.Iris showed a little rebellion after bad circumstances [...]

    8. Hmmm. I'm still trying to think about my exact thoughts about this book. I have loved all the other books on the "alpine" series, and I was so excited when I heard this book was coming out. However, I was just confused. Sure the love story was great, but I didn't love the characters. Sophie was a completely different person in this book then the others, and like someone already mentioned Iris's identitdy was confusing. Not my favorite by Shannon Guymon.

    9. Really cute. The main character reminded of me of my friend who had a purple Mohawk. My friend is so cool, and totally valiant in the gospel, and I wish I had the courage to have a Mohawk or red-tipped hair. I thought this book was kinda short but I wouldn't have it been any longer. It was a fun read, and I need to go back and read her other books.

    10. I wanted to give this author another chance because so many friends have said that her books are so good. I like the general outline of the story and would have given it a 3 1/2 or 4 stars, but some of the specifics were just so over the top that I had to reduce the rating. For one, a couple of the exact lines seemed to be word for word repeated from one of her other "Alpine" books. And the way Trey totally over-reacts to someone writing a poem for his ex-girlfriend (especially when he knew that [...]

    11. This was a really fun addition to the Alpine Series. I enjoyed the humor and loved the relationship between Trey and Iris. They were both strong loveable characters and I couldn't wait to see them get their Happily Ever After! :)

    12. This book makes me smile. I fell in love with the spunky and sassy Iris and Trey just makes me laugh. It was the perfect just for the fun of it book.

    13. Fun, clean romance with heart and humor. Very enjoyable. Iris was a ball of fire, loved her. Trey was awesome, too. Full review coming next week on both blogs.

    14. I love Shannon's books and this one is no exception!! Quick, fun read that improved my mood and put a big smile on my face!!

    15. This book was great. I really liked Trey and Iris. I thought their story was believeable. I think when you go through something like Iris did your first instinct is to change something (or everything) about yourself. The Ben and Jerry's references made me laugh (they also made me hungry). I liked how characters from Shannon's previous books made appearances in this book too. I didn't know Allison though. Somehow I missed book 3, but I'll get there. I hated Sophie in this book and I didn't like t [...]

    16. I actually enjoyed this book. Super fast read: check. Unrealistic love plot: check. Sophie and her Fresca: check.

    17. I have loved the Alpine series. And I love all these amazing women. All different, all fabulously flawed.

    18. It's the happiest day of Iris' life, she's just married the love of her life. She's at the reception, mingling and enjoying herself, when she's accosted by a woman claiming to be the girlfriend of the man she's just married. When the woman is able to produce proof, including texts, and pictures and proof that she's not the only one, Iris knows that she must get out of her four hour old marriage, and fast and start over. So Iris moves to Alpine, Utah, a very small town where her cousin Luke and h [...]

    19. This was such a fun read. I knew the minute I saw it that I had to read it and I went right over to NetGalley and fetched it. Thank you NetGalley and Cedar Fort for the review copy of Do Over!Trey and Iris will make you smile both together and separately. After an ugly relationship, Iris decides to experiment with her clothing and hair to fit what she feels is more like the "real" her. After living a certain way for so long she felt stifled and needed a change. Her "do over" shook everything up. [...]

    20. (Genre:LDS fiction/romance) 24 year old Iris is a talented and very successful interior designer in Seattle who moves to Utah after discovering that her newly married husband has been cheating on her. In an attempt to distance herself from that relationship and to discourage any man from approaching her, she changes her hair and clothing style from sophisticated and chic to biker chick black leather, funky hair, and henna tattoos on her arm. Unfortunately she soon discovers that her new look jus [...]

    21. If you love fun clean romances you will love this book! Be prepared to stay up late, because once you start this book it is impossible to put down. You will fall in love with the characters! Iris is a fun, smart, sassy, misunderstood woman with a heart of gold. Trey is the prince every woman dreams about sweeping off her feet, even if they are in a man hating zone. I love how the beloved characters from the other Alpine books are back. It is always fun to see a sneak peek of what has happened to [...]

    22. Sigh. I've got another author to add to my favorites list. I loved this book and while it is the first book by Shannon that I've read, I can assure you it won't be the last. I fell in love with Iris and Trey immediately. I liked Iris's determination to be her own woman despite the heartbreak she endured. And Trey just made me laugh and wish I had a Trey in my life. I also enjoyed the secondary characters, Maggie, Jacie, Allison, and Sophie made great additions to the story, despite Sophie's jerk [...]

    23. What a fun read. Entertaining and real characters. Plot is enjoyable and realistic. Sophie has been burned. She finds out at her wedding reception that he husband of 4 hour has been cheating on her with not one girl but numerous. She confronts him then goes to the microphone and cancels the celebrations. She takes a leave from he interior design firm and takes off to alpine Utah for a break. She is tired of the rumor mill and pity. Her cousin's wife, Maggie gets in on a bet to find the perfect g [...]

    24. Clean romance, LDS setting/ChristianQuick read. Kind of fluffy though for my taste. Characters had some issues that needed to be resolved. MC leaves her fiance after finding he has cheated on her, particularly hurting since it is an LDS setting where fidelity, chastity and virtue are very valued and prioritized in courtship and marriage. Obviously, the fiance is a jerk. He is quickly out of the picture as Iris leaves and heads to UT to start over. She meets Trey, and as she changes who she is on [...]

    25. When you are done with relationships and the opposite sex, it is the perfect time for the right person to come along. Iris and Trey decide to pretend to be involved to stop well meaning loved ones from setting them up with someone else. They become great friends Bet you can guess what happens next.I read this book in one day. It is cute and well written. The characters are great people who I was really hoping would get together. After I finished the book I found out that there are other books fea [...]

    26. I had a few issues with this book that made it a very frustrating read. Sophie’s reaction is just over the top, way over the top. A two minute fist fight between two individuals, described the way they were in the book, would result with someone in the hospital. So much damage can be done in just one minute. And the way the fight started would never happen at that stage in the relationship. Do women really think this is how the "perfect man" would react to that scenario? And Iris' parents woul [...]

    27. This is one of those very fun books wherethe guy is SO DONE with women and the girl is SO DONE with menbut the guy doesn't want to be set up on anymore pity datesSo he asks girl-done-with-men to be in on is ploy of making everyone believe that he does like said girl so they will stop asking him to like other girls. When if fact he really does like this girl because she doesn't fall all over him like all the other girls and the girl is starting to like the guy because he is so unlike the other guy [...]

    28. This was a fun quick read. I liked the two main characters, but they were kind of inconsistent in their personalities. The author actually jokes about them have dual personalities, but it felt more like she was changing the character to make a certain scene happen, rather than having the story be character driven. I thought some of situations and conflicts were over the top, and easily could have been avoided, but I guess that's the nature of romance books. It always bugs me that practically eve [...]

    29. What I like about Shannon Guymon's books is that a lot of them are about people in the town of Alpine, UT, so even when a new book has a different main character it still includes other characters that I recognize from her other books. This story was cute, but one thing I didn't like was one of my favorite characters from her book Makeover ended up acting like a complete brat, which was really out of character for her. Then her friends gave her a "punishment" because she'd been acting so badly. [...]
