    1. This was a pleasant return to the lives of some often neglected characters in the DC Universe. All to often these characters are relegated to minor character status in team books while the superstars such as Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman steal all the glory while these characters get relegated to grunt status and are left to deal with the riff-raff of the villain world.I really enjoyed following these characters, and the author (Geoff Johns, why am I not surprised?) did a fantastic job of br [...]

    2. Hawkman has been a favorite character of mine, and I was happy to find this volume. Unlike the fairly miserable New 52 Hawkman, this run seems to get the characters and mood just right. 3. I can't believe Johns successfully successfully tied Hawkman into a western comic in a way that didn't seem asinine and crafted a fun and interesting Gentleman Ghost storyline, something I thought was impossible until earlier this week.

    4. I love this version of Hawkman. Can't believe how good it is. The feelings between Carter and Kendra, the adventures in the Himalayas and of course the Wild West adventure with the Hawkes. Very good stories. B

    5. I loved this one. The past lives concept was entralling. This volume was heavier on the action. I am looking forward to the last volume.
