    1. Helotes by Cynthia Leal Massey is a quick rundown of the history of Helotes, TX. Full of images and photos of the town and surrounding areas, the little town on the edge of Texas Hill Country comes to life. I am a new resident of Helotes and came across Massey's book that gave me a great background of my new home town.
