    1. A solid work, an interesting piece of political history. It did a very good job of framing some of the important political and social issues of the 1920s and exploring how those questions impacted the structure of the Democratic Party. Definitely a piece of niche scholarship that would only appeal to those with a very specific interest in American political history, but I'm one of those people, so I enjoyed it. :)
