    1. I like about family because like happy family or good day and outside is cold in season winter they need warn or something hot drink just that long ago and I don't know kind of hot drink like tea or something but she name Laura are girl just happy and fun then she afraid his uncle just family or some happen.

    2. Laura constantly excited and afraid of a parties same the time, while her mind wanted go but didnt want go. Until she was like much the party.

    3. Though it has been years since I read the other "Little House" books. I remembered the stories instantly after picking this one up. In a time so focused on technology it is hard to forget what it was like before it all. Which is why I think these books are simply wonderful. Upon finishing the book I find myself day dreaming about an afternoon with Laura and Mary on the banks of Plum Creek.

    4. This book is a great little snapshot of the parties that Laura experienced in her childhood. The descriptions are very vivid, and it is easy to picture what is happening in each scene. It is also interesting to observe all the different types of parties that occurred during this time.
