    1. I'm sorry, but this book is silly to put it nicely. I gave up on the first page when Mrs. Noah says "What on earth does Noah think he's doing building an ark? This place has never flooded. Although, we could use a bit of rain."Mrs. Noah had never seen rain because it had never rained before. She wouldn't have gotten the concept. Also, "I've never known it so dry." is not something that would have happened or that she would have said because it had never been "dry" before. Which is why Noah is ab [...]

    2. When her husband begins herding all the animals in the world into the ark, two by two, Mrs. Noah decides to save the plants in the world from the flood. Noah and Mrs. Noah have a contemporary look, Noah with his wire-rimmed spectacles and an Abe Lincoln-ish mustache-less white beard, and Mrs. Noah in a monk-like brown dress and apron, and with both wearing straw hats with ribbon trim. The animals all appear to be smiling. “’Oh, Noah,’ she sighed. ‘I didn’t think you’d go this far. Ar [...]

    3. In this book, Mrs. Noah grows a vegetable garden. As Noah prepares for the flood and gathers the animals, she realized she should probably do something to preserve her plants to be replanted after the flood. So she takes them on the ark. The plants also provide food while they are on the ark. Smart Mrs. Noah is able to replant all the food plants after the flood waters recede. This is a "what if" scenario and not based on any particular Bible reference. It is an interesting point of view since th [...]

    4. I really enjoyed this book. This is the story of how Noah's wife saw that Noah was inviting animals onto his ark so she decided that she needed to bring her plants to the ark. As you read the book you will think. "this really does make sense". The kids will enjoy the illustrations that go well with the story. Some pages have a lot of text which may make it harder for the younger kids to stay attentive. Overall this is a nice book, well written and well illustrated.

    5. This book is a cute story of Mrs. Noah who saves her vegetables from the flood. Has lots of pictures of animals too for little ones.
