I read Return to Baragula earlier this year and jumped at the chance to enter a competition on Mary’s blog to win Outback from Baragula. And yippee I won a copy!!     3. This is my favourite book in the Baragula series. Mary Hawkins describes the outback so well you can almost taste the dust. Her realistic portrayal of life on an outback farm got me completely involved. Even better, her characters are intriguing and lovable. Eddie and Ettie kept me entertained, whilst I found Jillian very likeable. Her developing relationships with Steve was very well portrayed. Mary weaves in spiritual truths beautifully.
