    1. Storm to come “Storm to come” by Yankev Glatshteyn is a story which takes place in Vienna 1993. The main character Karl who is best friends with Emil, a Jewish friend, are wandering in a hostile city feeling alone and scared without knowing the person who they can trust and where to go. They get shelter and experience hard life and no freedom that the Jews apart the fact that Emil is one. Once the Nazis take away Karl's mom his best friend Emil's mom is also taken away and his dad got killed [...]

    2. Interesting book. Unlike all the other books in this series it was written at the time it is talking about, 1938. This gives it a unique viewpoint on the experience of Jewish people in Nazi Germany as it was written without any knowledge of what was to come. In itself it is a fairly fast-moving story that sweeps the reader along on a breathless rush from one crisis affecting the two boys to the next. My only real criticism, a quibble really, is that because it was written in 1938 it assumes that [...]

    3. Amazing - most of these 'My Story' books have been written recently but here is an important one which was written right at the start of WWII. Still hard-hitting even now.
